Let shoppers swap size, colour or product instead of asking for their money back, and decide how price differences are handled.

Turn exchanges on

Go to Settings → Return rules → Exchanges.
Choose what shoppers may swap for: the same product in another variant, or anything in your catalogue.
Save. The option appears in the portal straight away.

Absorb — the swap is free to the shopper whatever the price gap.
Charge the difference — the shopper pays the extra at checkout.
Store credit — a cheaper swap returns the difference as credit rather than cash.

Offering a bonus on store credit is the single most effective lever most brands have. Set it under Settings → Refunds → Store credit bonus.
