How to change the refund method from Gift Card to OPM

Before you start

A gift card refund that hasn't been redeemed yet can be switched to the shopper's original payment method in full. Once a gift card has been partly spent, only the remaining balance can move.

Change the refund method

1. Open the return in Returns and find the refund issued as a gift card.
2. Click Change refund method and select Original payment method.
3. Confirm. REVER cancels the unused gift card balance and reissues the refund to the original card or payment account.

If the gift card has already been redeemed

Only the remaining, unspent balance can be moved to OPM. Any amount the shopper has already spent from the gift card stays as store credit and can't be reversed.
