Product Validation: The Innovative REVER Feature for eCommerce

During a refund process,  the customer usually initiates the return of a product and waits to get money refunded automatically as soon as possible. So, how does the Product Validation Feature work? Once the seller confirms that the product has been received and is in good condition, the eCommerce platform automatically issues a refund to the customer. Allowing the eCommerce to review the products once they arrive at their warehouse is a pretty basic feature. REVER has just released it. Through the REVER Dashboard, eCommerce will be able to validate the items, and once they're approved, the refund will be executed instantly.

How does the REVER’s Product Validation Feature work?

This process involves reviewing the items in the Returns Portal and selecting one of three options: Approve, Decline, or Missing. Once the returned item is back in the warehouse, the review process can begin, and the refund will be issued immediately upon approval.Customers will still be able to initiate the return process in the same way, but will now see a small change: when requesting the refund, they will receive a message informing them that they will get the money back once the items are received and reviewed. To facilitate this new process, a new section has been created called "Item Reviews" which will list all actions taken in the review process. Additionally, in the "Transactions" section, customers can view the details of their refund and return, including the respective date and timing.By implementing this new feature, not only can the company ensure that only approved items are refunded, but also the process is more transparent for customers, allowing them to track the status of their returns and refunds.

Why is the Product Validation Feature so important?

Allowing eCommerce companies to review returned products before issuing a refund can help reduce the number of fraudulent returns and provide a better experience for both the seller and the customer.By validating the items through a dashboard, eCommerce companies can ensure that the returned products are in the same condition as they were when they were shipped. They can also check if the product is missing any parts or accessories, which could affect the refund amount. This feature also gives eCommerce companies the opportunity to address any issues with the product and offer alternative solutions before issuing a refund. For example, if the product is damaged or defective, the seller can offer to repair or replace the item instead of issuing a refund.

Are Product Validations a good implementation for your eCommerce?

As an eCommerce owner, it's important to understand the Product Validation process and to determine whether it's the best option for your business. You may want to consider the potential risks and benefits of validation and determine whether there are other solutions that would better suit your business needs. Additionally, you may want to establish clear policies and guidelines to ensure that they are processed efficiently and effectively.
